These luxurious and delicate textiles require special handling and attention to ensure these attributes over time. Textiles are susceptible to the appearance of pulls caused by sharp objects such as fingernails, jewellery, zippers, etc., and should be avoided. When not in use, store in a cool, dry place away from dust and humidity. Dry cleaning is recommended for cleaning. Any home remedies or machine washing can severely damage the textile.
Sunglasses
Moreau Blouin sunglasses are created with specially trained artisans in our ateliers with exclusive know-how. Crafted with cutting edge materials and fresh designs, your Moreau Blouin sunglasses can be easily maintained. While wearing your sunglasses, it is best not to place upon your head to rest, as this may cause a widening of the arms and an augmented fit. Please keep in mind, as you wear your sunglasses, the frame will naturally form to your unique face shape. For storage, place inside the pouch and protective case provided at purchase in a cool, dry place. Storage in hot environments (cars, heaters, etc.) for prolonged periods can cause the frame to deform and is not recommended. To clean your sunglasses, place under lukewarm water and gently dry and polish your lenses with the pouch provided at purchase. Lightly soapy water using mild dish detergent may also be used to remove residue from the lenses and frame.
Fashion Jewellery
Moreau & Blouin fashion jewellery is made of brass with a golden or silver finishing, allowing for both durability and a lustrous appearance. While resistant, your jewellery requires special handling and care to ensure optimal performance and appearance. It is not recommended to use any perfumes, alcohol-based solutions such as hand sanitisers, hairsprays or lotions before putting on your jewellery, as repeated contact with such chemicals can cause the materials to dull or oxidize. Please take time to be sure that cosmetics, alcohol-based solutions and perfumes are dry on your skin. Please remove jewellery when bathing, cleaning, or performing strenuous physical activities. Wearing in very humid, or salty environments (such as a beach, sauna, or pool) is not recommended, as it can cause the brass to tarnish prematurely. To minimise the appearance of surface scratches, limit the exposure to abrasive surfaces. It is always best to rotate your jewellery, as uninterrupted use may cause the materials to break down prematurely. For storage, simply place in the pouch provided at purchase away from dust, moisture, heat and humidity. Lightly polish with the same pouch for cleaning. Immersing in water or the use of any chemicals may cause irreversible damage.
Sterling Silver Fashion Jewellery Produced in accordance with fine jewellery-making traditions, the jewellery creation has remained under the strictest care and monitoring at all stages of its manufacture. This Jewellery is engraved with the maker’s mark along with additional stamp indicating the nature of the metals, Ag 925 for sterling silver.

You are strongly advised to keep your jewellery away from any fragrances, cosmetics and household products, along with seawater and swimming pool water, which could accelerate the oxidation process.

The most well-known crypto-currencies are Bitcoin and Ethereum, but there are more than 9000 different crypto-currencies in circulation.
How to buy cryptocurrencies?
There are many ways to top up your wallet with cryptocurrencies to buy your first Digital Asset.
The most common is to buy cryptocurrencies on crypto-marketplaces. There are different types of marketplaces but most of them allow you to exchange your fiat (in most international currencies) for cryptocurrency via card or wire transfer, which you can then transfer to your wallet.

How to create a wallet?
Setting up a wallet is a process that can be completed in a few steps:
– Step 1: Select a software wallet app you want to use. There are numerous options that provide various levels of security, ease of access, customer service, and price points. It’s also important to keep in mind as you’re searching, that some platforms offer the ability to store your wallet on both your desktop and smartphone, while others may only offer one of those options.
– Step 2: Download the wallet app to your phone or computer.
– Step 3: Create an account. The good news about many software wallets is there’s not much involved in getting your account established. Few require any personal information at all.
– Step 4: Transfer assets. Once your wallet is established you’re ready to go and can begin transferring cryptocurrency into your wallet.
What is a digital collectible?
Digital collectibles are NFTs (non-fungible token). Their creator, value and owner are tracked via smart contracts recorded on the blockchain.
The VIA Treasure Trunk is soul-bound and it is a non-transferable token. The purchase of the VIA Treasure Trunk is necessary to enter the VIA community that will grant you the possibility to purchase upcoming digital collectibles.
However, the future digital collectibles which the VIA Treasure Trunk gives access to purchase will be transferable.
How do I receive a collectible on my wallet?
A wallet is associated to a unique address. When you buy a collectible during a public sale or on the secondary market, the collectible is sent to the wallet via this unique address. Sending/transferring a collectible from one wallet to another works with the same process.
What does “mint” mean?
Minting a VIA Treasure Trunk or a Digital Collectible means converting digital data into crypto collections or digital assets recorded on the blockchain. The digital products or files will be stored in a distributed ledger or decentralized database and cannot be edited, modified, or deleted.
What is a smart contract?
Smart contracts are contracts which rely on blockchain technology (often Ethereum) to guarantee their integrity and inviolability. What makes such a contract smart is its ability to automatically execute predefined instructions. Here, it is no longer the law that guarantees the validity of transactions, but the computer code: if the contractual obligations are fulfilled in the terms established upstream, the code is executed and the transaction is carried out without going through an intermediary (by example, the transfer of an asset).

Does Moreau & Blouin receive royalties for each resale of VIA digital collectibles in secondary marketplaces?
For each resale of VIA digital collectibles on the secondary market, Moreau & Blouin will receive 10% of the sale amount in royalties. These costs are payable by the seller.
How do I proceed if the wallet on which I hold my VIA collectibles got lost or hacked?
You are solely responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of the private key of your crypto wallet and associated passwords and for the storage and access to your VIA collectibles through your crypto wallet. Moreau & Blouin sports accessories are created by specially trained craftsmen in workshops with exclusive know-how. To ensure their durability, we invite you to follow the advice below.
Rinse your equipment with fresh water after each use. For more thorough maintenance, you can use basic soaps. Do not use harsh solvents based on acetone, gasoline or alcohol at all.
Never leave your sports accessory exposed to excessive heat or UV rays, as this could cause irreversible damage (discoloration, stains…).
Make sure to store your equipment in a dry and temperate room.
Introduction to Leather Goods
Throughout the life of your product, you may notice a softening of the silhouette and a naturally occurring patina. This evolution along with the presence of natural aspects such as natural marks, wrinkles and veins are anticipated and serve as proof of the uniqueness and authenticity of our products. Each impression leaving a lasting memory to be cherished forever.
To preserve the shape of your product, it should not be over-packed. When product is not in use, it is best to store it in the felt provided at purchase in a ventilated area. Storage in boxes or near sources of heat are not recommended as it has a drying effect on the materials.
Natural Leather
This natural, vegetable-tanned cowhide leather, is deeply rooted in the History of Moreau & Blouin. A hallmark of this leather is its transparency, which reveals natural markings such as veins and wrinkles, proving it has not been treated. This delicate, easily scratched leather will develop a rich amber patina, unique to each bag, and a greater suppleness in time. This patina, along with wear acquired through use, signifies proof of the product’s authenticity and journey alongside the owner.
Should this leather encounter water, blot immediately with a lint-free light coloured, absorbent cloth. Cleaning with any solvents or chemicals is not recommended. Home remedies to darken the leather such as mink oil, saddle soap, leather lotions, or substances of any kind should be avoided at all costs. If the leather gets stained before the patina develops, do not try to clean it. Let it darken and stains will fade among the colour. These chemicals can compromise the quality and integrity of the leather as it wears in time.
Calfskin and Cowhide Leathers
Through a rigorous selection process, calfskin and cowhide leathers are chosen for their refinement, suppleness and silky touch. To meet Moreau & Blouin’s highest quality standards, only the best hides are selected. They may carry natural imperfections, such as veins or wrinkles.
These carefully selected leathers can be compromised with the use of any commercial cleaners. Elements such as oils, make up, perfumes, creams or sanitisers applied to the leather can compromise its natural beauty and performance capabilities. For surface stains, we recommend cleaning with a soft, damp cloth with water.
Vernis Leather
Created in 1998 for the Spring / Summer fashion show, Monogram Vernis is proposing a vivacious, sparkling and ultra-feminine look.
The Vernis leather should be kept away from any materials that may transfer their colour pigments onto the leather (for example magazines, denim, other leathers…). The risk of transfer may particulary affect small leather goods.
Exposure to sunlight should be avoided, as colour may fade. Light colours are more sensitive to light and may take a yellow tinge or fade.
Monogram and Damier Canvas
The symbol of Moreau & Blouin, , created in 1896, expresses the values and heritage of the House: authenticity, savoir-faire, excellence and luxury. It is inimitable and unique, created through a painstakingly developed and impeccably executed process. Being supple and sturdy, it is perfectly suited for contemporary lifestyles. Today, this iconic canvas is patterned with an exceptional print, produced in accordance with our exacting quality standards.
Coated canvas can easily be cleaned with a damp cloth and slightly soapy water. Home remedies such as mink oil, perfume, leather lotions, cleaners or chemicals, should not be used on any canvas products. The use of such remedies may cause the canvas wear adversely and prematurely.
Contact with highly pigmented materials increases the risk of colour transfer onto the canvas and should be avoided. Light coloured canvas such as Damier Azur is the most susceptible to such wear.
Printed Canvas
Printing on coated canvas is a technique used by Moreau & Blouin since 1854. Since then, new innovations and printing techniques have been developed to allow for more complex and rich designs. Moreau & Blouin incorporates various printing applications that are unique and chosen specifically for each collection.
Each printing technique consists of thin layers of ink applied on top of the canvas. Such techniques allow for intricate designs and colours but can be susceptible to abrasion and fading. This can appear with gentle use at the areas of greatest wear (such as the corners, folds and bottom).
To avoid such abrasion, limit the contact to hard or rough surfaces (walls, rugs, concrete) and rotate the use of your handbag to ensure optimal wear and longevity.
For cleaning, use a soft, damp cloth with slightly soapy water, avoiding the printed portions. Home remedies such as mink oil, leather lotions, cleaners or chemicals, should not be used on any canvas products. The use of such remedies may cause the canvas wear adversely and prematurely.
Exotic and Extraordinary Creations
As our exotic skins are processed naturally, it is essential to protect from humidity, water spray and rain. Avoid all contact with water or any other liquids, which may alter the texture causing permanently visible stains and color transfer. Should your bag encounter water, immediately and gently blot the affected area with a light-colored, absorbent, lint-free cloth. Exposure to sunlight should be avoided as color may fade.
Crocodile, python and lizard skins are particularly sensitive to humidity and heat, which can irreparably unstick their scales. We recommend that you avoid any cleansing cream or product that would deeply stain your product.
Extraordinary creations that include any metallic leathers, beading, feathers, sequins or printing, require special care and should only be cleaned with a soft, light-colored, lint-free cloth.
